Let’s unveil some of the interesting facts about here. In 2011, Guinness World Records recognized the Indian student Jyoti Amge as the world’s shortest living woman.

Jyoti Kisanji Amge is an Indian woman holding the Guinness World Record for the world’s shortest women. Total height measured was 62.8 centimeter(s) ((24.7 inches) – that’s just over 2 ft.). The record was measured on 16th of December 2011.(24.7 inches) – that’s just over 2 ft.

On her 18th birthday she was measured at the Wockhardt Superspeciality Hospital in Nagpur, which made her the world’s smallest woman. With this she overthrew Bridgette Jordan from this title. Before making this record she had held the title for the shortest teenager (living) in the female category.

She is extremely happy with the record and she quotes, “Getting this record has made me feel better about myself”. “I feel popular, special and important.”
