Kazakhstan government Health Ministry has denied the Chinese claim of a deadly virus and labeled the message as fake news. And, also, confirmed that it’s not being ravaged by a pneumonia outbreak which is deadlier than the coronavirus.
“Some Chinese media have reported that more deaths from coronavirus in Kazakhstan are due to unknown cases of pneumonia. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially declares that this information does not correspond to the TRUTH.”
Also, confirmed that, and pressed to note that WHO’s International Classification of Diseases ICD-10, including codes for pneumonia, if KVI is diagnosed clinically or epidemiologically, for example, “frostbite” syndrome, i.e. pneumonia, but not confirmed by laboratory studies.
So, without any proper evidence, it will not be in favor of the general public to issue such statements.
Kazakhstan, like other countries, is maintaining the record of pneumonia and continuously watching the cases by following appropriate guidelines by the World Health Organization.
The statement by Kazakh came after the “significant increase” in Pneumonia by the Chinese Embassy in Nur-Sultan.
